Lisa and Lori Brigantino are real life sisters who play Vickie and Nickie in the off-beat, wacky musical comedy act, The Vickie & Nickie Show! Vickie and Nickie are the multi-instrumental, singing, suburban-housewife, sister duo straight from the hills of northern Minnesota!

Vickie and Nickie’s live shows include a wide array of music from rock, country and soul, to rap, funk and the blues as well as wacky original tunes and knee-slapping pop song renditions. They deliver hilarious and edgy interpretations with tight sibling vocal harmonies all while accompanying themselves on many different instruments including acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard, accordion, saxophone, clarinet, violin, ukuleles, percussion and more. These musical Minnesota moms also entertain with fun family stories, humorous banter, social commentary, improv and audience participation.

“It’s Christmas with Vickie & Nickie!”

The Brigantino sisters have written and performed over 10 full length “Vickie & Nickie” shows to date including sold out performances of their holiday shows at The Duplex, The Cutting Room, Don’t Tell Mama, Dixon Place and other notable NYC venues, as well as several regional theaters including Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta, NY, The Regina A. Quick Center for the Performing Arts at St. Bonaventure in Olean, NY. They were last seen this past December performing their most popular show, Vickie & Nickie’s Holiday Sleigh Ride at The Muse Hive for the Arts in Rosendale, NY, co-directed with Broadway veteran Susan Haefner.

In addition, Vickie and Nickie have made special guest appearances in many variety and comedy shows throughout NYC including: Sundays at Seven Comedy Night at the Irish Arts Center, Kim David Smith’s Vauxhall Kabarett at Vlada, Danny Leary’s Variety Extravaganza at Comix, The Talent Show Brand Variety Show at The Gershwin Hotel, Listen To This at The 92nd St. Y/Tribeca, Becky Donohue and Danny Leary’s The Cocktail Show at Don’t Tell Mama, and The Rocha Dance Theatre’s Glamour Bash at Galapagos in DUMBO. Most recently, the Brigantino sisters produced their first season of webisodes called “Vickie & Nickie Flickies.” The first 5 episodes can be seen on the Vickie & Nickie YouTube channel with more episodes on the way. They also released their holiday single, “It’s Christmas with Vickie & Nickie!,” last December which can be found on all music streaming services.

Lisa and Lori Brigantino have been performing together musically since they were children. Lori (Vickie) is an actor, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Her acting credits include The Last Nickel at The NYC International Fringe Festival, Trials & Fibs Off-Broadway at The Soho Playhouse and several Off-Off Broadway plays and independent films. Lisa (Nickie) is an award-winning singer/songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Lisa was an original member of the world’s first all girl Led Zeppelin tribute band, Lez Zeppelin (bass, keyboards, mandolin), and toured internationally with the band. She left the band in 2009 to focus on her own original music. The sisters regularly perform Lisa’s original songs at well known NYC music venues, regional clubs, coffeehouses, house concerts and festivals. They also sing in the vocal trio In The Rough with Broadway veteran Susan Haefner and often share the stage with Terre Roche, founding member of The Roches.
